David Curtis Owens has been playing music for more than two thirds of his life. From busking at farmers markets and coffee shops, to performing at concert halls around the world, he has found his true love in singing, songwriting, and playing any instrument he can get his hands on. Trained in jazz and classical guitar at Central Washington University, David has brought his talents into the bluegrass/folk arena and currently performs as a solo artist and in various groups around the Northwest. He combines universally relatable lyrics about love, loss, and life in general, with simple yet beautiful guitar progressions, and melodies that are sure to get stuck in your head. When he's not on stage, David can be found roaming through the woods on a sunny day, relaxing by the fire with a good book, or playing fetch with his dog Mary.
